Laboratory Construction

ABC has over 15 years of working in lab environments across the D.C. Metro Area as both a mechanical contract and general contractor. ABC has experience installing all types of lab piping systems, including Reverse osmosis and acid resistant piping. ABC has also completed complete lab renovations to include all new mechanical, shelving, casework, chemical fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, LN2 piping, control valves, BAS, oxygen monitoring, cold boxes, blast gates and stainless-steel exhaust systems.

The most important services ABC provides, is that all it’s services and work are performed safely and in compliance with local and national safety regulations. ABC has a robust internal safety program, with employees receiving training and refresher courses on a regular basis. ABC’s corporate safety policy covers the tried and true safety concerns of the industry, while also tackling newer and more prevalent issues in the field like Crystalline Silica and lock out tag out programs. ABC staff have OSHA 30 training, in addition to specialized training including but not limited to crystalline silica, fall protection, fire hazards, LOTO and asbestos awareness.
